A class for children who have started to walk confidently. Through free play on a circuit of our unique equipment children are encouraged to climb, jump and roll to improve their gross motor skills. Our circuits change every 2 week. Hand-eye co-ordination is introduced and there are rhymes and songs to develop body identification.

We use climbing frames, tunnels, beams, planks, wedges, barrels, trampettes and a whole range of hand-held items like balls, hoops and bean bags, to help develop agility, balance and coordination. You work with your child, guided by our trained staff who will help and encourage your tot as they learn how to tackle the equipment safely, building strength and stamina each week.

This is a lovely free-play session where tots can safely work out what their little bodies are capable of. Around the age of 2 years they may be ready for our more structured and challenging 2 to 3yrs class where they’ll really start to build their social skills like listening and taking turns.

Is this the right session for you?
Your toddler should be 'confidently' walking to attend this class. If they are only just starting to walk you may want to join the 6mths to walking class which will help them to build their confidence before moving up to this class in a few weeks. This class could also be the best class for just turned 2 year olds who are new to Tumble Tots. Children will take part in bare feet and are best in comfortable clothing. We kindly ask that adults wear flat or no shoes.

Children attending Tumble Tots need to register to become members (after their trial session if applicable), and there is an annual membership fee of £28. The membership pack includes a Tumble Tots T-Shirt, a Tumble Tots back pack, a Tumble Tots Sticker Book & a Membership Card.
